annapolis area Computers copped Burglars broke into a Smith Street home over the weekend and made off with two computers worth $1,000, city police said. The victim told police he had locked his house before leaving town for the weekend. When he returned around noon Sunday, he found the side door had been kicked in.

Police found that two rooms in the house had been ransacked, but the only items missing were the two laptop computers, a Dell and a Sony, worth about $500 each. An investigation is continuing. Games stolen Thieves stole video games and a pair of pink ladies Air Jordans from a Madison Street apartment Friday afternoon. The games and shoes were worth $820, police said. Apparently a woman left the apartment around 3:15 p.m. to talk to a friend while her children played outside, police said. When she returned 30 minutes later, the children noticed the games were missing. She had not locked the door when she went outside, police said. An investigation is continuing. SEVERNA PARK ATM robbery A man was robbed Saturday evening while taking money from an ATM machine outside a Severna Park bank, county police said. The 55-year-old man was inside his vehicle at the drive- through ATM machine at the Bank of America in the 600 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard about 7:40 p.m. when a man walked up and demanded his cash. The driver hit the gas and left the bank, leaving his ATM card inside the machine. The robber completed the transaction, taking an unknown amount of money, and ran away. The suspect is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with james avery Carbon Fiber Bangle a thin build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a black hat over his face. This is at least the fourth robbery at the Bank of America ATM machine in Severna Park, police said. SOUTH COUNTY Burglary arrests Two men were charged Friday morning with stealing a television from a Davidsonville home, county police said. A witness called police about 10:40 a.m. and said a green Ford minivan had pulled into a driveway in the 3200 block of Green Ash Road, and that a man got out and forced his way into the home. The man was seen carrying a television to the parked van and then driving away with a second man. Police put out a
embroidered patches lookout for the van, and an officer spotted the vehicle at Mount Airy Road and Route 424. During a traffic stop, police could see a television sitting on the floor of the van. Lynus Ellerbe, 30, of Washington, D.C., and Darren Upshur, 23, of Landover, were each charged with first-, third- and fourth- degree burglary, theft over $1,000 and malicious destruction. NORTH COUNTY Customer robbed A man was robbed Nov. 29 while walking into a Brooklyn Park convenience store, county police said. The man was about to enter the 7-Eleven store in the 4000 block of Ritchie Highway about 2 p.m. when three young men walked up to him and said, Give it up. After one of the men showed the man a handgun, the man dropped his cell phone and ran inside the store. The robbers snatched the cell phone and ran in an unknown direction, police said. All three suspects are described as black and between 16 and 20 years old. One had dark skin and dreadlocks, and was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans. The second man had light skin and short hair, and was wearing a green striped polo shirt and blue jeans. The third man had short hair and was wearing a brown shirt.
